Introducing the DSPA 12 Series
Standalone aerosol fire extinguishing units with a thermal starter from the DSPA 12 series (DSPA 12/1, 12/2, 12/3, 12/4, 12/5) are intended to control and extinguish fires of flammable and combustible liquids, solid fuels and electrical equipment, including energized ones.
DSPA 12/1, 12/2, 12/3, 12/4 are also available with an electrical starter that can be connected to a control box. They are used for fire protection of small volumes (electric cabinets, engine compartments, etc.) and vehicles.
Principle of Operation
The aerosol mainly acts on class A, B, C, E and F fires. It is produced by the transformation of a compound based on Potassium Carbonate contained in the device from the solid state to the gaseous by sublimation.
The aerosol produced extinguishes the fire by inhibiting (preventing) the chemical chain reaction of combustion. At the molecular level, the aerosol eliminates free radicals and extinguishes the fire without depleting the oxygen content of the volume in which it has spread.
The aerosol does not generate any residue and its elimination is carried out by simple ventilation of the room.
